I’m an adman’s nightmare! 

I was very pleased by Sheffield City Council’s recent decision on advertising. Last Monday the Finance Committee agreed to a ban on ads for junk food, sugary drinks, petrol cars, flights, alcohol, gambling and vaping. Sheffield has gone further than other cities like Bristol and Norwich as they have also banned high-carbon car and flight advertising.

Boycott Barclays Action in Sheffield

Thursday 21st March was the national day of action against Barclays and Sheffield made sure it didn’t go unnoticed.

Members of the Sheffield Coalition against Israeli Apartheid went to Barclays and protested inside the bank, calling for an end to the financing of companies involved in arms exports to Israel.

New Justice Now camp at Town Hall. Don’t buy goods grown on stolen Palestinian land.

Today Sheffield Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid rallied and marched from Waitrose to Sainsbury’s and then on to the Town Hall where a Ceasefire Now! camp has been set up.
