On August 6, Sheffield Creative Action for Peace held a ceremony commemorating the victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. The Lord Mayor highlighted the importance of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. Concerns about the UK’s expanding nuclear arsenal were raised, alongside a call for Sheffield to support the Treaty.
