A letter to the Sheffield Star

Dear Editor

Today Labour confirmed that it will continue selling weapons to Israel if it wins the General Election.

Shadow Minister Pat McFadden said on Sky TV: “We don’t have a boycott of selling arms to Israel”, claiming that Israel is “abiding by international humanitarian law”.

Craven.

Spineless.

Lacking in any integrity.

This was on the day it was revealed that the 3 cars transporting the 7 World Central Kitchen aid workers were not together and had been targetted separately, even though they were very clearly marked as aid vehicles. This was, without doubt, a war crime and shows international aid workers are Israel’s enemies because they are feeding Palestinians that they are trying to starve. 

At least 32,916 Palestinians have been killed and 75,494 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The majority of these have been women and children.

Surely we must stop providing this Genocidal Israeli Government with the weapons they are using to commit these awful crimes?
