Protest for Palestine at Sheffield Train Station condemns Genocide in Gaza

Thanks to Steph for the photo

A moving protest at Sheffield Station on Friday highlighted the scale of the Genocide in Gaza.

Annie spoke about “the pause” and the fact that the Genocide will continue after four days. She highlighted the victims in the West Bank. 2260 people have been arrested by the Israelis since October 7th without trial and put in “Administrative Detention”, many of them women and children. These people are ignored by our media, while they concentrate on the hostages taken by Hamas.

Javed spoke about the bias in our media and Annie about the weapons Israel is using against Palestinians, including Phosphorus Bombs that cause horrendous wounds, burning the flesh all the way to the bone.

Musheir spoke about how Israel is committing war crimes and that international law experts have agreed with him that his videos are evidence that war crimes have been committed.

The Tadhamon Choir sang inside the Station and a long list of names of some of those that have been killed in Gaza were read.
